Lake Toftavatn

Enjoy a scenic walk around the beautiful Lake Toftavatn, one of the most popular outdoor destinations in the area. The trail offers peaceful surroundings, rich birdlife, and beautiful views throughout the year. Along the way, you will pass the statue of The Shepherd and His Dog.

The round trip from the Visit Runavik office is approximately 4 kilometres. A short walk up the hillside also leads to the Faroe Islands' first international football stadium, where magnificent views await.
